PARIS, France.- A woman wearing a vest bomb blows himself up on Wednesday as heavily armed police tried to enter an apartment in a suburb of Paris where it is believed he was barricadedtheideologue of the attacks last week in the French capital, he said police.
Two others allegedly terrorists killed during the operation and seven others were arrested in the siege, which began at dawn and continued up about four hours later. A suspect is still holed up in the house.
The official, who was not authorized to be publicly identified according to department policy but with updated information on the operation, said that dozens of policemen stormed the building they found an unexpectedly violent resistance.
Another police official, who also could be publicly identified by police rules, said four policemen were injured. In the situation no hostages were taken.
The Paris prosecutor's office said special operations teams arrested three people in the department. At the moment they have not been identified.
Another man and a woman were arrested near the house, said the note. Residents said the first explosion rocked the neighborhood around 4:00 am local time.
"Then there was a second big bang. Then two more explosions. There was an hour of shooting, "said Baptiste Marie, an independent journalist for 26 years who lives in the neighborhood.
Another resident, Guizani Amin, said he heard the sound of grenades and automatic weapons fire. "There was shooting for an hour. Non-stop. There were grenades. He tore and stopped. Researchers identified Abaaoud, a Belgian citizen of Moroccan origin 27, as the person who orchestrated the attacks last Friday in Paris.
