NY police training colleagues RD against organized crime and common crime

NEW YORK The International Organization officials this state, FOP 920, is training 24 police officers Dominicans who arrived in the city earlier this week, including senior officers, subaltern classes and enrolled in various techniques against crime organized and common crime.

The workouts consist in handling domestic violence, youth in conflict with the law (gang), against narcotics, crime scene, community affairs and emergency, among other topics of interest to the police.

Such trainings are being coordinated through the leadership of the FOP 920 which directs the Dominican official Jose Santiago, and has been performing at the police academy Westchester County in White Plains, under the direct auspices of the police commissioner of the City of Mount Vernon, Honourable Terrance Raynor.

This is the fourth Dominican police delegation comes to New York City so far this year to train through the FOP 920, and the second under current Dominican police station headed by Major General Nelson Peguero Paredes .

Miguel Paulino Castro, president of the FOP 920, said Dominican always help their brothers in everything at your fingertips, so that in the Dominican Republic have a better trained police every day, better trained and more technical; an institution that is able to give an efficient and effective response to organized crime and common crime, as demanded by society today and as Dominicans deserve.

These trainings are part of the agreements it has with the FOP 920 quisqueyana National Police to help in the process of reform and modernization, said Miguel Lopez Rodriguez, director of public relations for the organization in NY.

The New York police agency thanked the international affairs director of the National Police, Colonel Juan Luis Sierra DIFO, by coordinating these trainings are carried out, and also the authorities of the US Embassy in Haiti, for the hospitality and facilities that have always provided the FOP 920.

The executive committee of the FOP 920 is composed of Dominican players in the Big Apple, Luis Antonio, Cristian Peña, William Gutierrez, Thomas Cueto, Jose Santiago Silva Toribio, Miguel Morillo, Miguel Lopez, Carlos Beregüete, Pedro Jiminián, Elpidio of Rose, Daniel Roman, Felipe Reyes, Ramon Vargas and David Rincón, among others.
