The world's tallest man, the Thai Pornchai Saosri, has died at age 26 due to diseases suffered multiple reports 'Bangkok Post'.

A man who once stood 269 feet high and was thought to be the tallest person in the world has died at his home in the province of Surin at the age of 26. His mother, Mrs. Woen said his son Pornchai Saosri died .

Mrs. Woen said he found his son dead yesterday morning this morning as he returned from washing dishes to care for him as usual. No plans had still not made for his funeral, said Mr. Woen said after the disease Pornchai and unusual growth was reported by the media, people across the country had sent money to a bank account opened for donations and she had received a total of 110,000 baht.

She said she spent some of the money to redeem his house, which she had mortgated of Pornchai money to pay for health care and other needs before his death. Ms. Woen said he had about 50,000 baht left in the bank account and would be used for the funeral of Pornchai.
