Film Review: The Family Reyna Creole film quality mark

The Reyna family has left, after projection as opening tape IX Dominican Global Film Festival, a trail of feelings, questions, and hopes interpretations whose wings you feel the value for daring to production concerned.

What does the writer Carlos Quezada, leading to the last screen due to his early death, is a model that points the paths that must transit the concept of the new Dominican film. Quezada a brief supporting role in production reserved. No better tribute to his memory to recognize the value of their creative talent.

The family drama, supported by facts, and carried a cost of 18 million pesos, brings new features to the landscape of filmmaking Creole has fascinated the public taste and a good part of the critics, even among those who question him its flavor melodrama and irrelevance of its sub-thematic threads, conditions that can be discussed.

Performances
The tape is resolved to a fixed camera work visually exploits the rich panorama of the valley of Constanza, seen as never before, a vital and surprising organicidad in their performances together, in which they excel: Cuquín appropriate emotional transition to a degree I never imagined; effective Evelina Rodriguez, away from all appearances goodness and Adalgisa Pantaleon (Dona Sarah), the best of credible performances of his career.

An actor, the motorist does Carasaf Sanchez, surprising for its expressiveness, but the laurels of the debutante performance takes them, with its seven / eight years, the child Erick Vasquez, who we know is in charge of the lead Children of Reinvow, by producer David Naslha Bogaert and Maler.

The highlight
Family Reyna has a strong appeal in addressing the intense drama that keeps the audience to revolve around the fighting in this farming family in the prickly relationship of two brothers, Daniel Reynoso (Isaac) and David Maler (Ismael with father represented by Cuquín Victoria, who achieved the best dramatic role of her career, it will become a well achieved dramatic atmosphere, and owes nothing to the soap operas of Mexico.

Family Reyna in the same sense of artistic quality achieved, which led, in turn experienced. Sand dollars (Guzman & Cardenas, 2014) and Paz Code (Urrutia & 2014), despite their gender differences.

Freshness and cinema
Among the reasons the impact of this production Danilo Reynoso and Atabeira Films, we have the professional freshness and the ability of daring team that takes screen, as is debut of a director of university education (School of Cinema, Faculty of Arts of the UASD) and a team of about 80% in the same academic origin). These filmmakers have dedicated their talents with workshops and postgraduate studies in the programs of the Global Institute of Multimedia.

This factor is added to the aging time of his script, over two years, reversing and improving their approaches.

What is not
What is not is being lifeline Creole anything because cinema is not lost, but in full swing with its various expressions, to which is added an expression with failures, repeated or renewed resources, successes, failures and contributions .

Synopsis
Isaac and Ishmael are brothers of different temperaments. One is a young worker, evangelical Christian, entrepreneur, head of two families and the other is irreverent and older brother Isaac, who left the village for years, whose return, they will become unexpected events.
